One might ask…

"How does someone land a cool job like that?" Raven will tell you it comes from troubleshooting like a pro and possessing an unwavering dedication to succeed. These characteristics run through her veins, and Raven has also held an impressive list of previous roles that taught her well and helped catapult her career.

It was at BET Digital where Raven began her work as a production assistant, creating original content from behind-the-scenes footage of BET's "106 & Park." Surrounded by brilliant creators and innovators at BET, she began pitching ideas that propelled her to associate producer. In that role, Raven produced and directed all the behind-the-scenes shoots for Bet.com.

From there, Raven joined iONE Digital, where she was tasked with starting from scratch, building, and executing the video strategy and programming for women’s lifestyle websites MadameNoire and HelloBeautiful.  Since then Raven has produced hundreds of videos, including notable series like "Listen To Black Women," "Ask A Black Man," and "Did Y'all See?" which have generated over millions in views.

Other notable accomplishments include stints in production for mtvU, The Apprentice, Fox 5 NY News, and The Jerry Springer Show, as well as partnerships with global brands and platforms, such as AT&T, "Black Girls Rock!", Coca Cola, and "MTV Music Awards." Her production passion is so strong that she also works projects independently: The Africa Miranda Show on Facebook Watch and CURLS Green Collection Commercial for CLEO TV are just a couple.

Raven's goal is to produce —big or small projects— that have the ability to impact viewers nationally, cross-culturally, and globally through her production company All The Rave (coming soon).

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Raven attended the University of Virginia, majoring in American Studies. She and her sister Jayniece are thick as thieves and her nephews, Kasen and Kamren are on her shortlist of the most important people in her life after her mother Mary and father James. When life doesn't call for video production, Raven inspires many as a dance fitness instructor in New York City and a deacon at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Brooklyn.
